A 1:500 white monochromatic study model of Santiago Calatrava's World Trade Center Transportation Hub (the Oculus), depicting the bird-wing superstructure rising between simplified context-building slabs. The Oculus ribs appear to be 3D-printed (PLA), capturing the rhythmic spine geometry that defines the building's identity, while the base plate and context volumes. Miniature human figures on the base establish scale and foreground the form's monumental quality relative to the surrounding urban fabric.
