A 1:33 study model of Diébédo Francis Kéré's Gando Primary School depicting the building's signature tectonic: compressed-earth brick walls with door openings and brick pilasters supporting slender metal columns that carry a raised steel-truss canopy with a metal roof deck. The walls are constructed from actual miniature plaster bricks, the truss from finely fabricated laser-cut acrylic, and the roof panels from acrylic sheet. The model foregrounds the structural and material logic of the building — the separation of the heavy masonry enclosure from the lightweight shading roof above — making it simultaneously a structural and didactical object.
