Materials: acrylic, paper, plaster
Type: facade
Detail: 5/7
Student: Noëlle Rüsch und Dario Frisina, FS25

A 1:50 study model of a single structural bay unit of the Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana, capturing two stories of the building's signature repeated arcade with arched openings, rusticated block coursing on piers, and thin black glazing-bar inserts suggesting window frames. The second image reveals the interior loggia perspective, foregrounding the rhythmic recession of arches and the vault geometry. The model foregrounds the repetitive tectonic logic and spatial phenomenology of the facade-arcade system rather than the full building massing.
