A detailed 1:20 model of the interior of the Phillips Exeter Academy Library by Louis Kahn. Rather than describing the building as a whole, it isolates a fragment of the reading space and fully materializes it, so that the fall of daylight and its effect on the surrounding surfaces can be read directly. The model works as a study of light and atmosphere, examining the quiet, contemplative character Kahn gave the library interior.
